CCE's Commitment to Excellence:

The main purpose of the Center for Continuous Education (CCE) is the advancement of the professional knowledge of all members of the healthcare industries by providing high-quality continuing-education courses.

To this end:

CCE will only employ internationally recognized, knowledgeable experts with appropriate teaching capability as course faculty.

CCE will provide or arrange for appropriate education facilities and sufficient reference material for each educational program.

CCE will monitor the quality and usefulness of courses through course audits and the analysis of course evaluation sheets which course participants will return at the end of each course.

CCE will require course faculty to maintain an attendance record time sheet for each course participant.

CCE will maintain a professional staff to administer and coordinate an organized schedule of continuing education programs.

CCE will abide by the quality standard requirements of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) (IACET).

CCE will award Continuing Education Units (CEU's) to course participants if they have at least attended 50% of the course time.

CCE will award course participants who have attended a course for at least 90% of the course time a certificate attesting their "successful completion" of the course. Participants who have attended less than 90% but at least 50% of the course time will receive a course certificate attesting their "successful participation" in the course. Participants who where present less than 50% of the course time will not receive a course certificate. The actual CEU's earned by a course participant will be printed on the course certificate.

CCE will maintain auditable records of courses, course faculties, course attendance records, and course participants. The record of individual course participants shall contain the number of Continuing Education Units earned.

CEU Definition:

One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is defined as the equivalent of ten classroom hours.
